Draining
1. Loosen the self-venting drain plug to drain the water from the bowl into a container.
2. Tighten the drain.
3. Use a fuel bulb to fill the filter with fuel.
4. Start the engine and check for leaks.
To replace an element
1. Loosen the self-venting drain plug and drain the elements into a container.
2. Remove filter elements from mounting bracket with bowl attached.
3. Remove the bowl from the filter elements and clean the o-ring on the bowl. REUSABLE BOWL * DO NOT DISCARD.
4. Lubricate the O-ring with oil or oil and install on the bowl.
5. Install the bowl on the new element, tighten by hand.
6. Lubricate the top seal of the filter with oil or gr.
7. Fill filter/cup assembly with clean fuel and attach to mounting bracket, hand tighten.
8. Start the engine and check for leaks.
