Analysis of the difference between anodizing and non-oxidizing of aluminum plates

The difference between anodizing and non-oxidizing aluminum plates:

1. After oxidation, a dense oxide film will be formed on the surface, so that the aluminum inside will not continue to oxidize. Non-oxidized aluminum plates are easy to be corroded in the air, resulting in yellow spots or dark spots, while oxidized products will not appear in the air for a long time.

2. The oxidized aluminum plate will form a dense oxide film on its surface, so the corrosion resistance will increase, and the melting and boiling point will also increase, which can be used as a heat-resistant material, while the non-oxidized aluminum plate does not have these properties.

3. The oxidized aluminum plate is corrosion-resistant and chemically more stable than aluminum because of a layer of chlorine trioxide oxide film. In addition, hydrogen can be released when aluminum reacts with acid and alkali, and there is no gas after anodizing the aluminum plate.

Difference Between Aluminum Plate Anodizing and Chemical Oxidation:

1. Whether electricity is needed: Anodizing is carried out under the condition of high voltage electricity, it is an electrochemical reaction process; Chemical oxidation does not need to be electrified, but only needs to be soaked in the potion, it is a pure chemical reaction.

2. Processing time: Anodizing takes a long time, often tens of minutes, and chemical oxidation takes only a few tens of seconds.

3. Abrasion resistance: The film generated by anodizing has several microns to dozens of microns and is hard and wear-resistant, and the film generated by chemical oxidation is only about 0.01-0.15 microns, and the wear resistance is not very good, but it can conduct electricity and resist atmospheric corrosion, which is its advantage.

4. Electrical conductivity: The anodized film of the aluminum plate is non-conductive, while the film produced by chemical oxidation is very thin and the resistance is not large enough, so it is generally conductive."
